Cath Davies teenage kicks

Cath Davies’s talk today focused on the emphasis that is being looked for when writing our first draft on the baby cage essay due in December, to highlight how to give meaning to your arguments and to be able to effectively show these arguments and create an conclusion that summons up opinion on the matter. Caths presentation focused on Dr Martens boots and the history of these boots from when they were first produced to the present day showing how they were adapted to the person wearing them and how they became a trend like a majority of components and objects as well as people in society have become through the help of advertising and forms of social media. from this talk I aim to be able to cross compare the baby cage created by Emma Read and why she created such an invention to the social views of pollution to see whether the baby cage was effective in its purpose and whether the invention was controversial to the greater majority.
