Chris Glynn illustrating complex ideas

Chris Glynn’s talk on illustrating complex ideas was difficult in all honesty to interpret  but in my own understanding the topic of illustration was to show the nature of being an artist not just as your career but how this will effect and change your life. Chris demonstrated the idea of illustrating ideas from different sources highlighting how a simple idea can become a massive bundle of thoughts and ideas like a spider diagram. from this talk to my understanding the aim was to show that there is no right or wrong approach to how you bring out your creative process from an idea on a piece of paper to researching existing linkable pieces of work for influence and the artists responsible for their existence to early sketch study s to the final piece. also I believe the message of this lecture was to emphasize that mistakes will happen but they help structure your plan of work from beginning to end
